Counseling and Eco Therapy Services

Counseling offers an opportunity to speak one-on-one with a compassionate non-judgmental listener who can help you learn to express and sort through your thoughts and feelings, identify patterns, develop insights, and build new skills and coping strategies. We all come to counseling  with a unique perspective of this world that has been shaped by personality, background, thoughts, emotions, and strategies for navigating day to day life. At Wild Wellness Counseling, we explore the strengths that have carried you through challenges in  your life and build upon those strengths as you cultivate new thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that will move you closer step by step towards your rich and meaningful life.

There is no one-size-fits-all therapeutic approach that works for everyone. Instead, we will get to know you and draw from the solid foundations of a variety of therapeutic models to best employ the methods that hold the strongest potential to meet your needs and accomplish your goals. Counseling sessions include explorations of your development to understand how you learned to see yourself, others, and navigate the world. We will use techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that will help you explore what a rich and meaningful life looks like to you, examine the barriers that keep you stuck and learn new skills to help you move towards your values; Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and narrative therapy strategies to target thoughts about yourself and your life; emotion-focused therapy exercises to enhance personal expression; and behavioral therapy tools to help manage your symptoms and improve your life.

Together we will work to help you make changes that give your life a deeper sense of meaning, and you will tap into your own truth and intuition in a way that you never have before. We will evaluate patterns that no longer serve you, discover the areas of your life that you need to shift, and explore your strengths so that you are strong when it comes to finding your own personal power. We will use mindfulness practices to help reconnect mind and body, and ecotherapy methods to help cultivate a more authentic self, embodiment, and connection with the natural world and something larger than yourself. I teach nature-based activities that are specifically designed for psychological healing and offer ecotherapy principles and tools in counseling sessions with individuals.

All individual Counseling sessions with me are $200/60 minutes. Walk/Hike and Talk or Virtual therapy.

Weekly Groups

Morning Mindfulness Walking Group

Let’s go for a nature walk! A weekly group with your peers to learn and practice mindfulness skill and setting weekly intentions to move you towards wellbeing. This group provides a safe environment that will provide you the space to practice mindfulness, communication, self-empowerment skills. In this group we will set weekly intentions to move you towards your rich and meaningful life while being motivated by your peers.

Virtual Nature Based Breathwork group

Let’s breath together! Join our nature inspired breathwork group. In this group we will connect with to the gentle rhythm of our breath, guided by the serene beauty of nature. Together, we’ll explore breathwork patterns, mindfulness, and deepen our connection to the present moment. This is an ongoing journey of self-discover and inner peace. Come Breathe with is and find tranquility amidst the chaos of life.

Mindfulness Hiking Group

Join our Mindful Hiking Group for an outdoor adventure that nourish the body, mind, and soul. In this group we fuse the serenity of nature with the practice of mindfulness. Embark on a 2-3 mile hike with a certified outdoor educator and Mindfulness based Ecotherapist. This hike offers an opportunity to delve into mindfulness skills while exploring scenic trails near Denver. Whether you're a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or just starting out, come join us for a hike that will leave you feeling grounded and inspired.
