Hi, I’m Mary-Clare (MC) Crocker.
Welcome to Wild Wellness Counseling
I’m so glad you’re here and ready to embark on your healing journey!
As a licensed psychotherapist in Colorado and Texas and a certified Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapist, I work with adult individuals and facilitate group counseling. My clinical journey began in 2019 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where I worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, and trauma. My experience includes working with high-acuity and vulnerable populations, including those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness due to trauma. I have worked in addiction and eating disorder treatment centers, private practice, and mental health crisis response, shaping me into the optimistic, confident, compassionate, and warm therapist I am today.
As a nature-based therapist, I love taking my clients outdoors, incorporating movement, and exploring the healing power of the natural world. I am passionate about trauma-informed care and supporting the mind-body-spirit connection, using nature as a co-facilitator in our work together. My approach is open-minded and client-centered, tailoring each session to your unique needs.
My background and training include working with:
• Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders
• ADHD, perfectionism, and self-worth
• Boundaries, identity, and highly sensitive individuals
• Grief, anger management, and life transitions
I deeply believe in the power of self-acceptance, embracing emotions in the present moment, and creating a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. A nurturing and supportive environment is the foundation for meaningful change, and I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey toward a rich and fulfilling life.
